I call it magic hibiscus because the colors of the flowers change S from pinkish/oranges to light yellow in the afternoon. This hibiscus is just so amazing and one of the hibiscus collection of my wife in her garden.

I love hibiscus. We see them near the coast here, but in Santiago, where I live, the summer is too hot and the winter too cold.

really? paintsonslate in canada has a hibiscus plant that's 3 yrs old
That's a good thing but unusual for me. I have a way of killing all my indoor plants. Honestly I don't know why. Except I forget to water them...a minor...

Yeah, I think the hibiscus are tropical plants and cannot stand the extreme hot and extreme cold weather. In our country, gumamela as we call it is the blooming season. Lots of flowers blooms everyday.

That' s wonderful. It' s the first time i heard of hibiscus that changes its colors in the afternoon. Is it because of the reflection of the sunrays?

@ilocosboy so it's really the sun which makes it change its color....
