My kid hits other children

My 4 and half year kid hits and pinches other children.I am at my wit's end as to how to deal with it.Cajoling or threatening does not work.what should I do?

hit other childrens ...its very bad for you too ...try to explain them try to find out why they do so...is there any specific reason if yes then try to sort out it....and give them lots of love then they will undertasd all the things.things are easy when you try to explain it with love and care.

Have you tried taking away his favorite toys? You can threaten all you want but it is just a threat if you don't follow through. Do you think there is a reason he is acting out?
