The Macy's Day Thanksgiving parade in New York City was beautiful. Every time there is anything going on in our country these days we get so many alerts. I wish the old days were still here where we didn't even think much of attacks that we have to look out for. Lets hope the whole weekend goes well and there won't be any issues.

Now a days it is hard not to have that though when they are large numbers of people gathered in one location. I do miss those days when there was no reason or concern to even think that way.

I totally agree with you. I grew up not thinking of anything bad. Now my grandsons are very aware of what is going on. So very sad the world is like this.

Last week in France a group of people has been arrested, they were preparing attacks to the famous Strasbourg Christmas Market. With my husband we wanted to visit the market, but we decided to stay at home.

Never gave it a thought until you asked! Hope everyone stays safe. We read about individuals being attacked daily, so it won't be safe for everyone.

It spoils lots of things if you need to continually be on the alert for attacks. We are wondering about going back to Europe and how safe we'll be. We mostly stick to less populated areas but you still have to on ferries and public transport from time to time.
