Last night my right eye was feeling a little weird, and this morning I woke up with extra "gunk" in my eye. 
Oh, joy--I think that I have Pink Eye.
When I was a kid, I would get it (then I knew it by it's medical name, Conjunctivitis) every time I went swimming in a pool. The next morning I would wake up with my eyelashes stuck together. 
I can't remember the last time I had it, but I know it's uber contagious, so I'm going to try to make a doctor's appointment this morning.
I'm guessing it got "shared" with me while at work. If I really do have pink eye, I doubt they'll want me to come in to work this week until I'm rid of it...

No, I went to the doctor's this morning and she gave me a gel to put on the edge of my eyelid.

Are you working at a daycare or with kids on a regular basis, nine times out of ten people who work at daycares get them alllllllllll the time.

Yes, I know--I do, and that's more than likely where I got it--though it's still the first time I've had it in a lo-o-o-o-ng time.

I don't think you are allowed to work with it. It is such a nuisance and so irritating. I really hope it heals quickly for you.

No, I know they send the kids home if they have it. When I was a kid I used to wake up and my eyelids would be glued shut with all of the gunk on my eyelashes.
