#9 in my Favorite "Time of Day" Songs series belongs to Lennon and her song "5:30 Saturday Morning."
Lennon (last name Murphy) began recording music in 1991, releasing her debut, 5:30 Saturday Morning. She is, according to Wikipedia, also leader of a metal act called Devil's Gift. Among fans, she is known for a court battle to win custody of her little sister after the death of their mother. Years ago, I also found her on the Suicide Girl's website.
Only one single was released from that album, and it certainly wasn't the title track. While I consider 5:30 Saturday Morning a nu metal record, "5:30 Saturday Morning" shows Lennon's softer side, showcasing her love of the piano.
And yes, she was named after John Lennon, in case you were wondering.

She's never really made it big. This certainly wasn't played on the radio. Good album, though.
