Nope... I havent get that chance ever... But I really like to donate blood... Before marriage I went twice to cancer hospital to donate blood, but they didnt take because I was below the minimum weight limit... After marriage,it was also the same. Then I tried after the delivery of my first baby, then also they didnt accept. Because Im breast feeding... Then again my weight went down and couldnt donate. But now Im in the avarage weight limit.. So I think I better try it this time. My Blood group is O Positive. Whats yours? Have you ever donated blood?

I've donated blood three times. My blood group is O negative which is rare and therefore needed.

O negative. Its very rare... If I am right, you can only get O negative blood isnt it? I really like to donate blood, but still didnt get a chance

@amandajay In Germany, the Red Cross organises the donation of blood on a regular basis. You could inform yourself in a hospital where you can donate blood. There are also private organisations which pay if you donate blood. The Red Cross only gives you a sandwich and something to drink.

yes O negative is really very rare. I know the value of blood donation when my brother got dengue and he is o negative. He need blood platelet but we all are of O positive can't help him we have to get blood by giving blood to blood bank. Thanks to all O negative blood donors who has donated blood for my brother.
