Arizona Cardinals do not intend to tank in their remaining football games

A reporter in Phoenix Arizona asked Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians if his team is willing to lose their remaining five regular football games on purpose (tanking) so that the Cardinals can get a chance to get a high draft choice in the 2017 National Football League Draft. Even though the Cardinals are 4-6-1 in the 2016 National Football League regular season standings with a remote chance to make it to the playoffs, Arians answered that reporter who makes those comedians that work for the ahem Worldwide Leader In Sports look like Steve Lombard of the Daily Planet fame in the Superman franchise with the comment "absolutely asinine". Memo to that reporter in Phoenix is that Arians was hired to coach the Cardinals to lead them to win Super Bowls not lose football games on purpose for the remainder of the current football season since he could be terminated by the management of the Cardinals at the end of the football season. Good thing Arians is not former New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Mora who would have that reporter the riot act.

I have seen that on ESPN and it makes my stomach turn that a team like the 76ers would treat their fans that way.
