Okay, guys, that's it. The end, that is, of the list of songs with "man" in the title. The idea started when @teamfreak16 began posting "girl" songs and just exploded from there. So here's my favorite "man" song.
#1: Son of a Preacher Man - Dusty Springfield
There's nothing else even in the ball park. When Dusty sang a song, it was sung.
From folkie (a member of the Springfields, who popularized "Silver Threads and Golden Needles") to soulful icon, Dusty Springfield had a voice and a half. Consider that this song was originally offered to Aretha Franklin, but she turned it down. Dusty put enough soul into it for herself and 'Retha, and only after Dusty's version became a hit (and her sister Erma also recorded it) did Aretha relent and record it. Too little, too late (sorry, 'Retha).
And hey, did you notice this was my second "preacher man" song on the countdown? Porter and Dolly were fine, but this is some righteously good singing.
Thanks, Dusty. And thanks for reading, everyone.

And the R&R HOF actually saw fit to induct Dusty.

There was a time, any local Denver band with a female singer did this as part of their set. Great choice!
