Shayna - My point is why we ourselves should not feel beautiful. We all are beautiful and before loving anyone we should love ourselves, we should love our appearance. Also, beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Therefore, we are generally guided by the fact how people pass comments about our beauty. We should not get carried away what others say about our beauty, we should realize that God has created us and we are the best creation of God. I consider myself beautiful and handsome.

@shaynas - May I ask what is the definition of 'average looking' and who devised this definition. Please do not under estimate yourself or your looks. Beauty or looks are subjective, there may be some people who may not be as good looking as you are and on the other hand there may be some who may have looks higher than you, therefore, you should not consider yourself an average looking.

@dpk262006 That average is by my definition of good looks. As i feel thin is beautiful and i am always on a healthier side. LOL. Though my folks consider me as one of the most good looking person around, but i don't agree to that.

@justansh Just because a person is average looking, it does not make him/her any less special. Everyone is special in their own ways, looks is just a parameter, which is not even important. But that does not mean i should start feeling like a miss world! It takes confidence to accept where u stand on any scale, isn't it?

I believe beauty starts within. There will be girls prettier than us, sexier than us, smarter than us, better than us but what's inside us and how we treat others is more amazing and beautiful than physical beauty. Just be confident about your skin and learn to love what you have. :)
