The pies are made, and the turkey is stuffed and in the oven. I'm a little behind my timeline. Right now I'm looking at the turkey coming out of the oven around 3:30 or so. I should never have put the turkey in the freezer when I got it. It was only partially thawed this morning. So I had to do the cold water thaw. All things considered, it only went in the oven 45 minutes later than I hoped, so that's not too bad. Now I have a couple hours before I get the potatoes peeled and cooking for mashed potatoes, the green bean casserole made, and the sweet potato pie. I have holiday classics playing on the TV and I'm going to interact until such time as I need to get back to the dinner. I thought we were going to have sun today, but clouds are threatening. What they are threatening with is a good question. I keep seeing snowflakes on the forecast, but it just isn't cold enough for it. Even though Thanksgiving was a week ago, it really feels like Thanksgiving today. The holiday classics make the day come alive. My boys and friends will be here in 4 hours.
