I caught an old episode of "Different Stokes" with Gary Coleman, Todd Bridges, and Dana Plato. I am sure most know the show. I heard the theme song and thought this song would be cool if someone covered it as a punk song. It has the perfect lyrics for one. Be happy I found Less Than Jake because the first two bands were a bit subpar. The first punk band was just aweful and the 2nd band was real good. Their only problem was they slowed down the tempo on the middle section of the song. It ruined the flow of the song and it quickly became a snoozefest. Not only does Less Than Jake do a cool Different Strokes song, they cover many other songs and it becomes an a 11 minute impersonation session. Some songs have that punk rock attitude. All are done in good taste and fun. I especially like the McDonald's version.
