Road safety is an important aspect that should be considered by everyone. One part of that is being safe when riding out. Helmet is the most crucial element for the protection of your head. Our head is the most important part of our body as it is the control Center of our body. A helmet provides protection to the head in the event of a crash. In India people do not pay attention to the quality of helmet. They just buy it from the roadside vendor. People here consider wearing a helmet just to save themselves from getting a ticket. So here I list some of the helmet brands that you should prefer while looking to buy a helmet- Up to the range Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000 Studds Vega Steelbird These are Indian manufacturers that provide good quality helmets at affordable prices. Their are only ISI certified and not DOT or ECE certified. At the higher end of the spectrum you can choose any of the following manufacturers. Their helmets are either DOT , ECE or Snell certified. Their range starts from about Rs. 5000. LS2 Shark AGV HJC Shoei Thank you for reading. Ride Safe.

I wore shoei for a while then switched to arai and if I get another bike I'll stick with arai. More comfortable, often more highly rated (although that is a matter of opinion) and in my opinion more stylish

LS2 I've never heard of, AGV I had one once and it broke and it wasn't cheap either...shark...heard of and have a nephew that wears and loves it, HJC heard of but no experience with. Just wondered why you don't rate arai as it is my absolute favourite Do you maybe not like the graphics or style?

Many riders die in accidents just because they don't take this safety measure.
