What Happened Philippines?

Our country is facing a very crucial time for the reason that the late President Marcos who declared Martial Law few years back was buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani ( Heroes' Burial) and people rallied on the street to show their loathing. People on Facebook are debating this issue over and over again and I'm extremely sad and bothered to know that people who cannot use profound vocabulary, cannot carry out ideas agreeably or those who oppose the ideas of the anti-Marcos supporters are branded as idiots. We are unique individuals who possess different perspectives so why not respect the person? Belittling a person and calling them names just because they don't agree with you is so inhuman. I hate to say this but Philippines has so much to offer but because of the self-righteous-high-and-mighty-all-knowing individuals, we hardly move forward. Most Filipinos are so charming and hospitable towards other race but why can't we do that to our brothers too? Respect. God bless the Philippines and the People.

Thanks. It could have been better if people are understanding towards each other. Nobody's perfect and of course there will be people smarter than us but the bottom line is respect people no matter what their status in life is. You sow what you reap in the end, the golden rule clearly states.

yeah and the thing with the anti-marcos is that most of the rallyist are college students. They think they know the history very well. Sorry to say this but they are blinded by their ignorance.

I agree to this. The new generation is so twisted and the media? They manipulate the news. Oh sorry but I believe my parents and my grandparents more because they were there when President Marcos was the President and all they have were praises for his reign. On the other note, welcome to MyLot. I can see that you're new here.
