What would the Republican . Party do If President elect Trump switch parties

Here a thought a long time ago Trump was in the reform party and at a certain time he was a Democrat. Say after a year in office Presdent elect Trump decided to switch party. How do you think the Republican party will act or the people who voted for him. I can see him doing that or making a new party has a Presdent ever change parties while in office

After an election, a president has to be a president for every citizen, so he has to stay besides or above parties, I do not think that Trump will be different.

If he even gets the votes from the Electoral College and makes it to President. Apparently there are at least a couple of Republican electors who aren't going to cast their votes for Trump.

@yukimori A couple or 10, why not, but for what I read 37 would need to change their mind to have not him elected ; it would be a Revolution. I prefer the direct universal suffrage we have here. And with it Trump would not have been elected.

@topffer It seems like a much more sensible option than the circus that led to Trump being declared President-elect.
