My Packed Day

Today when the sun got in my eyes for a few minutes and I had all the notifications done, I decided it was a good time to do some Christmas shopping. My intention was to do something I've never done before, and find some small trinkets for St. Nick's Day. I've never celebrated it or even knew about it until about 20 years ago. However, I didn't find anything I really wanted in the trinket category, but I did find Christmas presents. Now I like coaxing the weather in winter. The ground is decidedly green at the moment. All the beautiful snow we got on Sunday is gone - history. So I put on my snowflake necklace my son gave me for Christmas a couple years ago. I finally found it, in of all places, a jewelry box. It had belonged to my mother and I remembered I had a few pieces of jewelry in it and gave it a look and found the necklace. So donning that, I went Christmas shopping. I gave the weather a one two punch in doing so. When I came out of Wal-Mart it was snowing. It didn't last very long, but it was definitely snowing. Tonight was also Writer's Guild. I almost didn't go, but I'm glad I did. I called my friend to ask her to give me a good reason to go tonight. She gave me a good one, and I went. It went well. I finished reading the first chapter of my story I took with me two months ago. I only read a few pages at a time and finished it today. I asked my friend if I should bring Chapter 2 next time, she said yes. So I'll do that. Arriving home, I took care of a couple areas in the first chapter that were commented on and got right down to interacting with you all. It's been a fun packed day and I found some nice gifts for my kids. How was your day? Thanks for reading. I have two necklaces, this is the other one.
