Music is loved by so many individuals. There's the old school rap, R&B, Pop and Hip Hop. There's something about the old school music. The lyrics and the connections are amazing. It appears as if so many artists were really in tuned with their craft. Not saying they're not now but there seemed to be more focused on the song writing and lyrics. Incorporating the Old School Artists like the ones from the 80's and 90's with the new age music on tours could produce higher revenue and a larger fan base. So many artists tend to use old school music in their songs already but if more do so they've developed a greater fan base which will incur more record sales. A lot are aware of the amount in which artist receive compensation. The amount isn't much but when millions and millions of records are sold the artists will become wealthy each time the records sale at platinum status. A lot of artist should be in favor of "developing a larger fan base." The old school and new school touring wouldn't be a regular event. A few tour dates out of the year can produce a hefty percentage for the record label as well as the artists. All depends on their contracts what percentage would be gained. A lot of fans would be pleased and when are pleased. Sales increase.

I had to laugh at you calling Rap etc 'old school' - that's what I call music from the 40s and 50s!

I love all kinds of music. I have learned a bit about music this year just by comparing how many listen to older Songs and how many listen to newer ones. Me I like most of the old and the new.
