I hate fake news stories

This topic isn't new but it's the first time I have something to say regarding this issue, it's very deceiving. You know it's bad enough to have the media to be selective and sensationalize the news, now we got sites that sells fake or propaganda news.
I've heard some of these people are paid to make fake news articles just to earn a buck. I wonder were are these people's conscience went when ever they deceive people with their articles.
We see these often now in face-book, also in you-tube I think. Internet still remained to be a primary source of information, you just have to research for the "right" one.

Yes, and we've seen that with most people now @magallon specially if they got family to feed.

@Letranknight2015 That's true.. Maybe because they do not want their family to suffer hunger.
Maybe they just want their children to finish college.
Or maybe they want money to sustain their vices..
These kind of people are evils of society.

Yes. I agree. Recently, I have seen a popular Facebook page post fake news about the pregnancy of an actress. Then, there are many websites which news about fake affairs of actors. What they don't realize is that they are not only spreading wrong image of the personalities but are also damaging the personality's personal life.

@Letranknight2015 I hope someone will make laws in future take huge fines from companies spreading fake news. That way, they will be careful from next time.

I don't think anyone is a fan of fake news sites. Except maybe trolls and all those unsavory characters who want to spread ill will around the world.

The worst thing about fake news is the misinformation that it spreads. Sometimes the misinformation can spread like wildfire. Once it's spread some people have a hard time being convinced that the news was fake in the first place. If it's on Facebook then it must be real, right?

I used to believe that but then it took for me to realized that some of them are fake @alicianicole I feel bad for those people who rely so much on facebook.

People will do anything for a quick buck. I have seen so many fake stories on the internet. I dont know why people do this. I mean so many real actual things happening that people could write about for the news and make stories but they decided to just invent things that never happened.
At least they should say on their story it is fiction and let it roll on just as a made up story.

Fake news is infuriating, especially for anyone trying to write about current events. I do hope, though, that Facebook will not block satire sites like News Thump, which post items that are obviously for comedy purposes.

Hello @asfarasiknow There was a time I made a post which is a commentary from a certain news, which end up being a real fake. I felt so humiliated and from that then on I just try to check the sources of the website.
