Getting hype for Niume posts

I have joined a site called Niume where I can publish my writing, get feedback on it, and as an added bonus also earn a little bit of money from it. One cool feature of the site is that people can hype a post; that means give it a thumbs up, which is sort of similar to a LIKE. It seems the more hype a post gets the more popular it is. And if that is the case, that's a great thing. I've looked at my stats to see how much hype my posts have and it seems that some of them have more hype than views. How is that possible? I would assume that people have to read a post to be able to hype it. At the very least click on it, which would count as a view. I guess people can just hype a post without actually reading it. That is weird. And I don't know if I am a fan of that. Sure, I would love to get lots of hype for my posts but it's more important to me that people actually read them. Plus, the more views I get the more I earn, even though earnings are very small.

yeah...there is a option to like the post without opening it...i don't know how that helps.

What do you think of the site? Any reason why you are not active?
