Sure, we all die, eventually but ... how many of us actually enjoy living?

Life is taken for granted. It's life in the fast lane. It's all about getting ahead. Well, that may be the reason many of us forget why we are unhappy. Looking back on the year 2016, I realize that things have not been going well for the planet. I have watched several YouTube videos of '2016 Is Strange' - the sequel to '2015 Is Strange, and probably the precursor to the as of yet to see version - '2017 Is Strange' - stranger than 2016? Maybe. I will have to wait and see. Looking back at all the shootings of cops and by cops and the political drama I think it's about time I put it all in proper perspective: The year 2016 is about over and done. It has been a year of many stories, some chaotic and others somewhat inspiring. But the thing about Life in my view ... I will resolve to take life a day at a time from this day on. I won't be in a hurry to get to tomorrow. Being in a hurry often causes worry and living for today is okay. It may be good for some, bad for others but the most meaning I can get out of living is from taking time to stop and smell the roses as it were and learn to slow down and try to reconnect with those who have been so long ignored and seldom even thought of in our fast paced, digital age of text messaging and speedy cash commercials.

Some people are lucky, some people are not. Let's just think life is a miracle and God has a miracle everyday we are alive and let's be happy about it

Life is to be lived but I maintain that to experience it one must embrace it now, not later, sometime in the future, where no man can see.

I agree with you: take life a day at a time.

I have been on the other side looking at life in the fast lane and I have been on the off ramp ever since. And I am looking forward through the window glass, not the mirror of things long since past.
