Just got back from lunch and it is freezing out there....

The sun sure is deceiving. Right now at 1pm it is -19C (-2F) feels like -33C (-27F) and really windy. I had to walk up to the bank which is like a 2 minute walk and by the time I got there I was so cold. You could get frostbite ratherly quickly out there today.
I felt bad for all the little kids who had to walk to school this morning or stand out waiting for their bus to come. We drove our grand daughter to school so at least she didn't have to be out in the cold.
It is suppose to warm up over the next few days with Sunday calling for 12C (53F). That will feel balmy after these past few days.

2 minute walk is already cold enough in such a frozen temperature. Especially it is colder when it is windy without sunshine. I remember when I travelled to such a cold place before, one night I went out alone. In fact I just wanted to walk around for a while and then went back. However, I found I couldn't open the door when I went back. I felt scared since at that time I was alone and I didn't bring my mobile phone. It was at night, too. I was afraid that I would die outside because of the coldness. Fortunately later I realized I came to a wrong door

The sun was supposed to come out but the weatherman lied...no sun, and it's only 33. But tomorrow will be double that.
