Sunset over Chesapeake Bay Area ...

We took a break from all the christmas  preparations and drove down to Newport news, VA, which is on the James river,  and I thought it was part of the chesapeake bay area, but...,   when I looked it up on google, to check my spelling, i'm not sure it is  part of Chesapeake Bay, but that's where we went. We had a walk around the Mariners Museum, which was very interesting, then we had a drink, and returned to the car. The museum is situated in quite a large park area, on the james river, and its very picturesque, so we drove round the park in the car and along river view drive,  which, as the title suggests,  gives you  glimpses of the river. About half way round there was a parking area, with a good observation area to see the river, so we parked up and took some photos, and then we noticed, that there were quite a few other people about with cameras too, and I said to one of them, beautiful isn't it,  he said ...,  "sure is, but you ain't seen nothing yet, its nearly sunset",  he said, "now that's  really awesome", and he was right, it was, beautiful, so then we took loads more photos, I took 58, in all,  but have put a few of my favourites in a collage, as the post photo, so you can enjoy it too...
