This is the day kids all over have waited for - because this evening Santa will hit the sky in his big sled full of toys. Of course those toys are only for good little girls and boys and the rest will get socks LOL! There was a cute segment on the news this morning...a little girl in Louisiana wrote a letter to Santa and to make sure he got it she attached it to a balloon. She set it free and her mom figured it would go a few feet and fall back to the ground...wrong The balloon and the list made it north 800 miles to a small town in Indiana. A town by the way 100 miles south of Santa Claus, Indiana. The lady who found the balloon was amazed that it traveled so far. She immediately knew what she had to do. The finder of said balloon tracked down the mom and got their address and off she went to the store where she purchased all the gifts on the girl's list. She sent the package off with lots of gifts sent with love from a stranger. See, there are still good people left in this world, we just have to believe! Photo is mine.
