Did You Ever Notice?? When we were kids, Christmas Eve seemed to take forever to go by. All we could think about was the day to be over so we could go to bed, Santa would come and then we could get up and see all of our presents under the tree. Which leads me to another thought. How many of you got yelled at because you sneaked into the living room to see what was under the tree. I still don't understand that, but yelled at we certainly received. It's funny... I don't think that I would have cared at all if the kids got up during the night just to sit in the cozy livingroom and dream about what was under there?? I wonder what bothered my dad so much?? Yes, I kind of got off topic lol!!

We never had a Christmas tree. Our presents were put in a pillow-case at the end of the bed or, if too big, just placed on the floor near the bed.

@Hate2Iron Yes, I guess so though they wouldn't have slept in much as there was always a cow that needed milking and animals that needed feeding.

No, never got yelled at just for looking what was under the tree. Everything was wrapped and we would have never thought of wrecking the paper.

Christmas Eve doesn't come soon enough when we were younger. Nowadays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day just blows by!

I miss the days when I thought Santa was real and I would wait eagerly for his visit. Now all the magic is gone...lol
