Hello everyone! I’m back after another successful eye cataract surgery. So both my eyes now are clear and am so happy and thankful to God. I will be welcoming 2017 with like a brand new pair of eyes. Sadly, as the New Year approaches there are already 48 firecracker victims in our country.according to the news this morning. We don’t light firecrackers. We always want a safe New Year celebration and we don’t want to add pollution to the environment. Do you light firecrackers to welcome the New Year?

Very happy to read that both of your cataracts surgeries went so well. I wasn't so lucky. I developped "secondary cataracts" and still see very blurry now and need to go for a laser treatment on the 12th of January. Do you need glasses for reading now?

Oh sorry to hear that but don't worry after your laser, you will surely be happy. I am so thankful to my doctor, he is so good. I am not using eyeglasses anymore when using my laptop although I need reading glasses when I read small letters. My distant view is back to 20/20.

Not personally no but I am not against a public organized display as they know what they are doing. I just watch it on the Television and seeing as we eat Grapes and Turron as the Clock strikes twelve we would have more difficulty doing that outside of here. Very happy for you about the eye operations too.

I don't, but often people will do it for any occasion. My son in law's 50th birthday had fireworks...usually the only time I see this is on the 4th of July in the states. And of course all the celebration on new years eve on TV.
