i've seen Robin bird i think last year and i was thinking it was just an ordinary cute bird.. they are just the same size. they don't grow big. i was told by my manager who actually was outside smoking and she said Robin is here! haha! i was like who!? lol then she said that Robins comes out during winter season. cold season. she said that Robins are symbols of dead loved ones souls. if you see them- a loved one is visiting you. so i thought of my grandmother or maybe my grandfather. i was more closer to my grandmother than my grandfather though. but regardless.. i thought of them when i was told about that myth. but i asked if where they stay if its not winter... she has no idea. but i'm sure they will go somewhere cold if its summer or warm in the UK.. We have two that visit our garden daily. Very often one of them will be sitting on the door handle outside.

@therealmaryyy Up to about a minute. It may be looking at its reflection in the glass of the door.

@therealmaryyy here they're out year-round. they come to my place durin' the heat 'f summer 'n durin' the winter 's i've a pond out back (man-made) - they've shelter, water 'n food. i've yet to figure why they don't stay all the time? 't momma's house'n town there's always robins 'n she's only a birdbath 'n a couple 'f shrubs.

Robins are so cute, I especially like how the small, "round" kinds look. There aren't a lot of them where I am, though.

I'm away from my home all winter. When I return in early spring, the first bird I see is a robin. Ours have an orange belly and the rest is brown. To me, they are a sign of spring.

This little bird is quite cute and beautiful. In fact I can't tell many birds. Birds fly so fast and fly so high. It is too difficult for me to observe them well.

We don't see robins in the winter here. When we do see them it means Spring is right around the corner.

Here, robins are a sign that Spring has arrived. We are not about to see them.

I've never heard of birds migrating to *cold* climates! I doubt that this is true.
