If your childhood best friend die at a young age 54 or younger how do you handle it?

My childhood best friend past away the sunday Before Christmas/Chanukah sunday. He was only 54. The doctors says he die of natrual causes. I will not use any names My friend he just turn54 early December. We know each other since we were babies. Fir me this is how i am handling it. I am keep my self busy makeing a thing to do list and doing thosr things if i think of him i get real sad So i think this is helpibg me. .
