Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated

That Twain mis-quotation summarizes yesterday morning. I made it out of the doctor's office alive and well. My weight told me I haven't been exercising as much as I vowed to over break, but other than that, I'm OK.
I did check on my Kaiser snow peas, and they look good. One of the four plants is throwing its first flower, which means that there should be some actual snow peas there in a week or two.
For those who read my previous post about the assistant who sent me someone else's information, the doctor told me that she was a temporary who is no longer around.

@MALUSE No, the San Francisco Bay Area's Winter "warm pockets" would be cities like Berkeley and Oakland, that are right next to the Bay. It's cooler there in Summer and warmer there in Winter. Out here in the suburbs, it's still fairly "temperate," but we get colder temperatures (and occasional freezing at night) in Winter and break 100 a a few times each Summer.

@Jessicalynnt I was tempted to ask more questions. But I refrained. I was actually more ticked off that she couldn't express in English than I was about the HIPAA violation.

I'm happy you're alright, Horse. It's ok I think everyone gains a little weight in winter.... but do you mean that you have actual vegetables growing now?

Snow peas like cool crisp weather. I only learned that when I started growing them in Oakland ten or so years ago. A cold night here would be 28 F, and they can stand that. It's usually around 50 during the day, with alternating rain and sun. This makes snow peas very happy.

Nice to see that you are doing okay and you snow peas will be flowering in a week or two as you said.
Perhaps now they will send you all the right information instead.

You really can't have incompetent people working in a Doctors office.

Congrats on the doctor's visit and the plant. Glad you won't have to interact with that assistant any more. Perhaps the doctor is glad of that too. LOL

Snow peas! I knew I forgot to plant something, argh. My garden is resting under a blanket of straw, but I did plant some bulbs in a different spot.
