It's time for #8 in my Favorite Rockies Players countdown: shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. Known simply as "Tulo," Troy Tulowitzki played for the Colorado Rockies for nine seasons. In those nine seasons, all Tulo did was win two Gold Gloves, two Silver Slugger Awards, and was a five time All Star. A great power hitter, defensively, Tulowitzki is as good as it gets: his .985 career fielding percentage is the Major League record for shortstops. If he's so great, then why is he only ranked #8 in this series, you ask? Simple. The guy was seemingly always hurt. He spent an inordinate amount of time on the disabled list. Just imagine the numbers Tulo could have put up had he managed to stay healthy. On the other hand, a few years back, Tulo grew a mullet for a children's charity. As long as fans kept donating, he kept it growing. You gotta love a guy like that! Tulowitzki is currently playing shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays.
In anticipation of his return to Coors Field, check out some of Troy Tulowitzki's great moments with the Rockies Check out http://m.mlb.com/video for our ful...

I do not much about the Rockies baseball players but Troy Tulowitzki is one of your best players on your team from what you shared. I know what you mean if he had been fully healthy his stats would be greater than they are with your team.

Without a doubt the best shortstop we've ever had, and Walt Weiss played here for a few years. Even better than Weiss.

@teamfreak16 You are correct since you know your team better than I do.

I knew Tulo would make the list. Injuries have basically dimmed his career. He is nowhere near the hitter in Toronto even after taking the Denver air into consideration.
