Boots or Bare Feet?

One of my granddaughters loves being barefooted. Inside, outside; it doesn't matter. She has always preferred to be barefoot. Well, she got a pair of really cute boots for Christmas and now suddenly she has to be wearing those boots at all times. My daughter told me that she cried when she had to take them off the other night to go to bed. I wonder if her love of going barefooted is over or if she'll grow tired of the cute boots and revert to barefootedness. Do you know anyone who prefers to be barefooted? When was the last time you went barefoot outside? And did anyone else get boots for Christmas?

I have a friend that loves to go barefoot she would love to be barefoot all the time if the weather would let that be possible. I didn't get boots for Christmas but my mom did.

I love walking outside barefoot. In the summertime when we are camping I never wear shoes.

I always prefer bare foot, and will take any opportunity to walk in the carpet bare feet. However I can't go outside bare feet...it's not safe to do so.

Usually a good advice I found in a book was to let kids express their needs exactly how they come as long as don't bring harm or any another negative feedback The connection of soil and barefeet is one of the most eager vibration to connect with your own aura! Also when I was little and I was at my grandparents in vacation I always was barefoot in the grass and it felt just.:simply amazingly! So don't restrict her for anything bc she feels a special connection with the soil and earth in general! Good luck

I so agree with you. I think it is very healthy to have bare feet contact with sand and Mother Earth. So many people never touch their bare feet to the planet and I feel that creates a disconnect with Mother Nature. It's very healthy to walk barefoot in sand or soil or grass. I think it would be wise of me to follow my granddaughter's lead and go barefoot more often (once winter is over). Thanks for the response.

Do you know anyone who prefers to be barefooted? Me. When was the last time you went barefoot outside? I'm barefoot inside my apartment all the time but it was sometime last year that i did it outside. And did anyone else get boots for Christmas? Not me. Not yet.

I do not like to walk barefoot, the only exception is when I walk on the sand.

Boy would I ever love to squish my toes into the sand of an ocean beach. It has been far, far too long since I have done that.

I got a pair of boots for Christmas, they're winter books and on sale for $14.99. At home, I tend to go barefoot. I sometimes walk barefooted outside to help my mom unload groceries.
