Inspirational Movies

Others may find it peculiar but I find inspiration not in merely inspirational and feel-good movies. Others may think of movies with a sporting theme. It may be true but with me, I find 'inspiration' (to use the word loosely) in movies that do not necessarily 'inspire' their audience:
Case in point, Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 are movies that I find inspiring. Imagine the scene when Beatrix Kiddo was trapped alive in a buried coffin - that certainly inspired me! Another movie that inspires me is 'Troy'. Another one is 'The Last Samurai'. Two movies that I could watch over and over and over again. Talking about sports-themed movies, maybe I have a couple that are off-center. The first is 'Any Given Sunday'. Have a listen to the the pep talk of Coach Tony D'Amato. The second one and this is another football-themed movie is 'The Replacements'. Listen to Shane Falco's huddles and you will know what I mean.
Do you have a list of inspiring movies that otherwise won't be considered inspiring by others?

The Kill Bill ones were good. I like those but I also like true crime with a twist and not the usual cookie cutter type.

LOL Violent gory movies inspiring? That is like saying Cannibal Holocaust inspired so many hearts. Speaking of Kill Bill, I am impatiently waiting for episode 3. Quentin Tarantino should make it happen while Uma Thurman is still alive and healthy because we know what 2016 did to Hollywood.

@allen0187 he said he is just waiting for the little girl who played the daughter of Vernita Green to grow up. Well that little girl is now in college. So he should be making that movie Asap while Uma is still alive.

mine lately have been sitcoms. not sure they should be inspiring but maybe. like "this is us" and "switched at birth" they do have mottos to live by in them

It is a good movie but there are parts in it that are tearjerkers which I try to avoid.

Not sure about Kill Bill, that movie didn't really hit me. But with the last samurai and troy they were good war movies and i liked them.

@allen0187 novels, books about writing, anything that captures my attention depending on the mood I'm in. If I'm looking for writing inspiration I read with an idea in my head. I also read a lot of journals and diaries of well known authors.

@teamfreak16 it is actually the story about Apollo Creed's son. Rocky (Sly Stallone) is in the movie as well.
