A young Melbourne mum, Chloe McMahon Swift, is hospitalised after becoming paralysed while brushing her teeth. She was revealed that she had Guillain-Barre syndrome, an autoimmune disorder that attacks healthy nerve cells and eventually causes paralysis. The disease affects just one in 100,000 people worldwide and it is incurable. When it happens to us, the first thing comes to our mind will be 'Why me?'

I have heard of that disease. How sad for her. There are so many awful diseases that can be cured if money wasn't spent on wars.

That's so sad, I've never heard of the Guillain-Barre syndrome. The fact that it's incurable is even more difficult to bear.

This is why we need to have a check up every year to make sure we are healthy, especially men who are not keen in looking after themselves.

@reskyyandi Good on you. I had a check up last year and according to the results, I am a healthy person. Hope I will stay like that for a long time.
