Time to say goodbye!

When a relationship of any kind is over I often have a hard time saying good-bye. I enjoy people and sometimes when the season of friendship is over I toss and turn as to why. I have lived long enough to learn that people come and go. I heard a man once say some people are meant for a season, some for a reason and others for a lifetime. It encouraged my soul to such a degree, that when I sense that a friendship is taking a turn or business relationship I do not try to hang on to the relationship.
Sometimes we have people in our lives who are not good for us or to us. I learn to let them go, when it was time to stop texting I did. When it was time to stop answering their phone calls I did. I did not want anyone in my life slowing me down and missing the hope that God has put down in me. Is there someone you need to say good-bye to?

Its hard for us to let go. In my situation I always know when to stop and say goodbye too. I can feel when the person already said good bye to me first even they're not saying it out loud. And it gets much harder when they confront me suddenly and say something different and I would wish that it was so. But wasn't.

@SDM1984 yes. And better stop early than later. I rather have a quiet exit than a noisy one.

In my case it just happens. I do not have to go out of my way to utter those words.

@allknowing, that happens to me as well. I have rarely had to tell someone not to call me, etc. That is the goodness that time teaches. Your handle is great! (Always smiling)

Nice. I learned something here. Let go when there's a need to. Dont cling too much when it has come to an end.
