MyLot, Don't fail me! / myLot

For some reason or another, I can't seem to add a picture to my posts. It just gives me the loading sign and then never loads fully and takes me to the post. I have pictures to share along with my words! MyLot, don't fail me now! Any suggestions?

Well, we can currently only add one photo per post. And we can add photos in our comments also. They need to give us an option to add more than one per post. Like a cover photo and a photo or two for our posts.

You can add a photo AND a URL to a web page in a post, but only one OR the other in a response or comment. Best size seems to be 640pix by 480pix, and there is a restriction on the overall size in MB of the picture, but I can't remember what it is... It is probably mentioned in the Help section somewhere, accessed via the drop down menu beneath your avatar top-left...

@pgntwo Yeah, I forgot the size of the photo that can be used. So I mainly stick with my header logo for my posts.

@inertia4 The smallest dimension pic from pixabay has always worked for me.

The photo you are trying to add could be too big. I've had to resize some of my photos so they would upload. At times I've also had to go ahead and post my text, and then used edit to add the photo. I'm not sure why that works, but it rarely fails, provided I've resized the photo.

is the picture less than 3mb? you can either resize it or crop the edges.

What I did before when the picture was taken from a camera is that I post it first on FB then download it from there which now has turned to a smaller JPEG file. I then upload the downloaded picture to my Mylot account.

Weird it doesn't work for you. When I post pictures, even at a bigger size. It normally works on here and I'm able to be able to share them on here. Hopefully when you try again it will work out for you! It would be nice to see your beautiful face on here more and other stuff!
