Changed Forecast

From bad to worse. We've had a good wintry mix going for most of the day. I had the news on a couple hours ago and the updated forecast calls for flash freeze from all the rain we had today, with wind gusts of up to 50 mph and snow starting up again before midnight and through tomorrow.
All after school and evening activities were canceled in the whole viewing area, and no doubt for most of the state. I'm wondering about tomorrow now as snow is also called for most of tomorrow. I won't be going anywhere tomorrow either, not with everything icy as it will be.
Right now Thursday is clear and I don't remember about Friday except that it's getting back down to the single digits. Right now I have an appointment Friday morning. It will be interesting to see if that will hold.
That is what is happening here weather wise. I'm glad now I didn't go anywhere today. I'm also glad my younger son has these three days off. Though my older son is working. Both are safe drivers, but I still worry about them in these conditions.
How are things with you? I see it got busy while I was gone, so I will be here for the rest of the night now as I work my way through the notifications again.

Pretty much the same here. My grandson was supposed to go back to school on Wednesday January 4. Here it is the 11th and I just received an email from the school district saying school will resume on Tuesday January 17th. It has been grey the last two days but rainy and in the mid 30's. This weekend another storm will be brewing.

@just4him ........I will be glad when spring is here. I can't do this anymore. He needs to get back to school and maybe a little bit more snow and call it good. Full moon tomorrow. We've been feeling it today.

@celticeagle We only had the one snow day, so the kids are back in school today. The sun is also out at full strength. No clouds. No more snow until Monday.

it was 70 today! But the temps are falling and won't stop till it's below freezing, and tomorrow at some point the rains roll in

@Jessicalynnt I've had a new phenomenon happen. When the weather starts to change my whole body starts getting achy. Tuesday I could barely walk I hurt so bad. Wednesday was better. Today, no pain whatsoever and the weather is back to normal. However, I'm also freezing. They said the pool was warm this morning. I was cold. I spent double time in the whirlpool warming up, and when I got home from doing laundry, I couldn't get warm. I took a hot shower and kept my office door closed and the heater on while I did. I'm finally feeling somewhat warm again. No, I'm not getting sick. It's this crazy weather we're having.

Yes it is. I won't be going anywhere probably until Thursday, but we'll see what this weather pattern does.
