Today is my Grand daughter's 9th birthday

Where has the time gone? I remember the day so clearly that I became a grandmother for the very 1st time. I can't believe that 9 years have alrady passed. This young lady brings so much joy and happiness into our lives. She is not only beautiful but she talented, smart, kind, has a wonderful heart and such a great sense of humor. She keeps us laughing.
We have the best conversations with her. She is also our little camping buddy!! She has been on many camping adventures with us. We have had so many great trips with her and we are looking forward to making many more beautiful memories.
We picked her up this morning to drive her to school on her special day. On the way there we stop and got her a birthday breakfast which she enjoyed. It is her favorite. Her birthday party is on Sunday so I am looking forward to that!

Happy Birthday to you granddaughter! I hope she has an amazing day! Sounds like it got off to a great start.
It's interesting that you mentioned that she likes to go camping with you, because just yesterday my son told me he wanted me to take him camping on his 14th birthday, which is coming up in March!

That is awesome Jeff. I think it is great when they like to go camping and spending time in the outdoors and of course spending time with us. That will be fun! I have to wait until the end of May for it is nice enough to go camping here!

Happy birthday to your granddaughter. My daughters have yet to get married, so it will be a while before I get grandkids I would hope. I just home to be in good enough health to be able to enjoy them properly.

Happy birthday to your precious and beautiful little granddaughter! Hope her birthday party is filled with joy! Mine will be 9 in June. Is she in third grade, too? Too bad we couldn't get them together. Mine goes to overnight camp. Is that close enough to camping?
