or another Race like Madonna did? **Personally, I feel that if I had the money like she has, and had the means to adopt a child from one of the poor countries to help give them a better way of life, I would do it. I think it is wrong for people to judge her for doing this.

This is a Good response. Why should anyone care because you are giving them a better chance at life. Why do people make such a Big issue over this one?

If I had the money, I would absolutely would consider adopting a child from another country. It would be great to provide a good life for a child from a poor country. It is sad to see them suffering in the countries that are in bad economic shape.

That is so True. They need to make it more easier for us to be able to do without it being so expensive.

I would love to be able to afford to adopt a foreign child. When I see all the red tape and expense American couples go through just to bring them home to a better way of life, it makes me want to cry. Think of all the children in the world who need a loving home and all the couples who would love to adopt a child if it just didn't cost so much. Of course, there are lots of children waiting to be adopted here in the US, too.

This is a Great thought here. And Yes, it would be so much easier if they made it more available without the Expense of it all and the Red tape involved. I know many of us would Love to reach out and give a child in the poor countries a better way of life if we could.

Happy Child - Child
I agree with you, if I am financially affordable,I will adopt child from another country or races. For me, everybody on this earth are human being orignin and the only difference is only skin color . Madonna,Tom Cruise and ex-wife,Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, they are doing a good example by adopting children from other countries with no discrimination at all. The only thing is,as long as the adopting is by proper procedure.

That is for sure. If someone follows the proper procedures for Adopting someone, no matter what country, Race, or skin color they might be, what is the issue?

I would adopt a children if i had money to it . But i would adopt one from my own country. Nothing agaisnt other countries though. I dont think also that is possible to adopt a children from other country, only if the kid is living in the same country your living in, because normally the adopted children have to have orientation from the adoption centers, to see if they adapt, from one country to other country that orientation would be none. And theres alot of bad people in this world...

I agree with international adoption.if your finance is allowed, giving the child a better home than they had. they need be loved as well as other children,no matter the skin colour. love is no border...

I would if I was ready to take on the responsibility of having a kid. Right now I'm happy being me and living my life to the full without the resposinbility of looking after anyone else except my dog.

Well, thanks for the Honesty. At least you know personally that you could not take on this type of responsibility, and are willing to admit it.

I agree. I would adopt a child from another race or country. I haven't been paying much attention to the news, so I didn't realize they were saying things about Madonna. I think its great that she did that.

Yes, I agree, and think it is Great. When you can offer someone a home and better life than what they might have elsewhere, what is wrong with it? There should be no Nationality or Creed when it comes to living. I thought we should just be one Big Happy family, and forget about Race and differences

If I were financially able to give a child a good life, I would adopt from another country. Race and skin color are insignificant, although I would want the child to grow up with knowledge and pride about his or her country of origin, although they would be fully integrated into the American culture. And, the adoption would have to be legal, through a reputable agency.

If any child is legitimately given up for adoption, then it shouldn't matter who adopts that child. I think what some of these women like Madonna are doing is great because they are the ones who can afford to feed these children. Also they can ensure that their adopted children learn about their original country. It is wrong for people to judge anyone who adopts a child, irrespective of the race, colour or creed. As long as the child is loved and cared for that is the main thing.

If I had her money, I would first want to help the kids here in our country. After doing that then, yes I would adopt a child from a less fortunate country. I just feel we really need to help our kids here out first.

Personally, I think it is wrong for anyone to judge anyone else, no matter what the reason or siruation. It's not mine yours or anyone elses place to judge anyone. (not saying you did or anything). And yes if I had the money and was able to adopt a child and give that child a better life, I would. Would not care if that child was white, black chinese..ect...it doesn't matter, and personally I don't think it should. If anyone wants to adopt a child, they should be doing it to help the child out, not to be racist of any sort. :)

My husband and I are currently in the process of adopting two boys from Haiti. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere ... and the third hungriest country in the world. 1 out of 5 children will die from dehydration, malnutrition or diarrhea before reaching adulthood! And 75% of the country lives below the poverty line. Some Americans who choose to adopt internationally choose not to adopt from Haiti because the children are very dark skinned. This outrages me. A child is a child in need of love no matter what skin color they are. Also adoption is expensive, though there are many agencies who offer grants to individuals who need assistance.

surely if i ve the means for doing so n the surity that i wud be able to do justice with them i wud definitely adopt a child from any poor country me n my husband aften think that there shud be somekind of radical improvement at the global level that people shud be given awarness that instead of bringing anew human in the world of ur own one can think of taking care of thosse who already exist n need our love n care .. but then i think the greater consideration according to me shud be that one can not be sure of doing justice to them esp if one has kids of one own so may godforbid if those kids wont accept him or her as there real sibling or incase one is not able to do that child as much as one do to ones own kids then .. i think it wud be even worse a crime ... but those who think n can be sure that they can do it then i think every one must .. its a great deed
