Suddendeath poetry challenge, Walk!

Welcome to this weekend’s Suddendeath poetry challenge, Walk! Anyways, rules are as follows, write a poem in any style using the five words that I give you. Write it in one sitting or in under an hour (only to quash your inner editor, rules are loose there). Add it here, OR link in a comment so we can enjoy each other’s' poems. The words can be in any plurality or tense. Today’s words are: walk, stroll, amble, stride, wander My entry is always, below: Do you wander as you walk, across the land so fair? Or do you stride boldly on, to your destination somewhere? A stroll can find you all sorts of things, as you amble on. Having no destination sometimes, allows you to be drawn, to sights unseen and beauty there is, around you every day, so sometimes I urge you to go off path, and let your feet to stray.

I stroll to the computer to have some fun, I only come here when work is done. I try to make my posts easy like a walk in the park, I close up shop when it gets dark. I never wander or amble along, My sense of direction is very strong. If you don't like what I say that's OK with me, I'll take it in stride and happy I'll be.

Whenever my business is on a roll; I rise from my desk and take a stroll. When I have a lot going on in my mind; I amble around hoping to unwind. whenever I cannot think of something to write; I take a walk in the cool of the night. When distractions make my thoughts wander; I put aside what I am doing, in case I make a blunder. I can always tell by your purposeful stride; That indeed there is nothing you are trying to hide . .

Kandase, you are on a roll, You can write a poem even as you stroll, Penning down words as you amble around Without letting your thoughts wander - Go on, go ahead, take mighty strides In this world so wild and wide.

By the sea on a moonlit night I wander And I walk with my gaze fixed above For this is a stroll I regularly enjoy Taking each stride deep into the wet sand - So do I amble and ramble about transfixed To the brightly lit heavens up above the night sky, And the sea beside me merrily rolling on.

@Jessicalynnt Hope someday We get together To walk on a summer beach. Since you enjoyed My ambling with words And my talent, With thoughts that wander, They take an even bigger stride So let us, one fine day, Go for a stroll together On a warm summer beach.

Nicely done. Let's see what I can come up with. With you by my side, I love to walk and talk. Then sit in the park, until dark, so that you and I can stroll, beneath the moon so bright. We never amble or stride, we wander together, hand in hand, in the wonderland, made by our love.

Snow's hand prints prevent me from a poet's amble russet winged finches filch autumn's seeds from tumbled sunflower heads my eye angles to the horizon, wandering seeking color but Old Man Winter has strolled here first, walking in extra large gumboots, knees and elbows firmly tucked into down I am loath to stride into his jokester's grasp.

This is a tough one, you did well. Known as a fast walker, a strider, not one to stroll when destination is known, yet prone to wander through woods, on beaches, ambling through dark places in my mind, looking for light.

I love the meter and rhyme on this one. It flows so well together. It makes me want to amble down the road and see what nature has in store.
