TV Show Pet Peeves

As television viewers, we have pet peeves that come with our favorite shows. It can either be something small or something big, but there's a peeve that gets us riled up when watching a show. My TV show pet peeves are when the show kills off a character. I've never been a fan of these, although I know the shows usually do it because of a storyline. Whenever one of my fav characters are killed, I get upset. Another pet peeve I have is when a character leaves and another is created to replace the old one. This is a pet peeve that's been hit or miss with me over the years. Some new characters I like, while others I didn't because I found they didn't work well on the show. What are some of your TV show pet peeves?

My pet peeve is when I get caught up in a series for nine weeks, and they leave for a couple of months, then return. It breaks up the storyline.

@DianneN I don't like when they do those breaks. I know they have to take them, but it sucks when they leave the show with a cliffhanger and you have to wait a while to see what happens.

@dramagirl26 And I always forget what happened. Very irritating.

@DianneN So do I. I usually have to rewatch the episodes to remember what happened.

When they kill off characters to make a dramatic ending or beginning, I get it, people die, but don't just massacre them for no reason!

@Clairelouiser That's a huge pet peeve of mine. I understand killing one off to further a storyline, but when they start killing off others that's where I draw the line.

I have a whole bunch and have even written about them, but one of the worst ones is how whenever someone needs some blood, like for some supernatural show or to do a "blood brothers" type of thing, they slice across the palm of their hand instead of just a little pinprick. And then in the next scene, they are perfectly okay. What????

@AliCanary I've seen that in a lot of supernatural shows and it creeps me out when they do that.
