I love doing jigsaw puzzles. I am a huge fan of those that feature paintings by Thomas Kinkade. They are really beautiful and fun to bring to life piece by piece. I have one puzzle that's 1000 pieces and I also have three collector's edition boxes. Those have ten puzzles in each box and the puzzles vary in size. There's 100 piece, 300 piece and 500 pieces puzzles. The 1000 piece puzzle is the biggest one I've ever done. I want to challenge myself and do those that are made up of many more pieces - 1500, 3000, etc. They don't have to be Thomas Kinkade jigsaw puzzles but it sure would be nice if they were. Do you love doing jigsaw puzzles? What's the biggest puzzle you've ever done?

I use to do jigsaw puzzles but I do not have that much time now. I am familiar with the works of Kinkade and I admire he's style that is so magical and seems to bring you to another world and time

@lovebuglena im familiar with the big ones, I remember my parents and uncles assembling a big one during the 60s, that took a lot of time and as a kid I remember they were separating similar colours and the pieces were real small and there were lots of them that looked similar.

His big-size puzzles are not as easy to do because of the colors... Just when you think you've got a piece that matches the color you are looking for you discover it's not quite the right color, even though the shape may look like the right one.

@louievill I separate them by similar color and them separate those by shapes. Makes it slightly easier. .

I don't mind doing them if I have help doing them. I saw a nice glow in the dark one I would not mind getting and doing it. I would like to get it and put it together and glue it together and frame it this one is a Christmas one.

@lovebuglena It is easy to do if you are worried about messing it up look up some videos on youtube on easy ways to glue them. Others I know that have done it used a paintbrush.

I remember once my mom saw me doing a Thomas Kinkade puzzle and she asked me why don't I glue it together and hang it up on the wall. It would be nice to have up on the wall for sure, but I love to put the puzzle together so decided I won't do that. Plus, if I tried to glue the pieces together I'd probably mess it up.

I love jigsaw puzzles, too. I have done 1,500 piece puzzles, but unfortunately, I don't have enough room to do the really large ones.
