I always wish to wake up earlier in the morning around 5.30. But never possible. For this i think i need to go to bed atleast at 10 pm. But these TV and internet never permit that!!!! what about you? What is your wake up time? How many hours you sleep

I get up early these days. I wish I could sleep longer though. No matter what time I go to bed I wind up waking up between 4:30 and 6 in the morning. Sometimes I would like to sleep longer. And I always have a hard time falling asleep at night.

It is my problem in getting enough sleep too. I usually would get sleepy at 10:30 in the evening so I lay down , but I get to sleep at about 11:00 . And since iIhave to wake up at 5:00 to prepare breakfast and myself for work, I only get 6 hours which is so lacking to me because it's 7 hours of sleep that is enough for me. I catch up on weekends instead.

I usually sleep for 10 hours at least, but I like to stay on bed for longer. The dream world needs me! I usually wake up after noon. And go to bed after 2 AM. It's quite hard for me to fall asleep, and difficult to get up. The internet is to blame in my case, I'm not addicted to TV.

@sans224 But that's what I need. Well, I don't know the real hours because it takes me a while to fall asleep, so it could be 8 or 9. Kind of normal for my age, I also don't take any afternoon naps.

@sans224 People should sleep enough to get up and feel rested and relaxed. It's not a matter of how many hours, because not everyone needs the same amount of sleep.

7 hours, usually. I try to get up at 6:15 - 6:30 a.m every day and go to sleep before midnight. You'll have to learn to ignore the TV and internet to do that though.

Well, when I was a kid - - 8 hours or more. When I was a teenager, 8 hours or less. When I got married and had kids, 6 hours sometimes 5 hours or even less (always sleepy at work) coz I got to assist my wife changing diapers at night. Now that I am almost 60 (junior-senior), all I need is at least 5 hours sleep to feel good on the next day! 20 t0 30 years from now I may be sleeping all day, all night - - or in short forever!

If I has to get up at 5:30 am daily then I would likely need to go to bed at about 9 pm. I usually go to bed around 11:00 and wake up at 7 am. I am always tired! I should go to bed by 10 pm each night but I can't tear myself away from the internet or books to do so.

my alarm goes off every morning at 5:00 am and I hit snooze button about 5 times until almost 6! I am almost never in bed before midnight and unfortunately I feel my lack of sleep by the end of the week. There is just not enough hours in the day t get everything done usually so I tend to stay up late and have to get up early to get the children to school on time!

seems you are in very tight schedule. think of rearranging works . u could save an hour more. lack of sleep itself creates lag in works.
