Baby shower ideas and tips? thanks

I plan on planning my own baby shower around the end of April beginning of May, just to make sure i have enough time in between to wash everything and organize baby could come earlier or later never know. My grandpa will be cooking and my mom wants to help out. I have never done a baby shower been to one a long time ago. I do not want to spend crazy money just simple for people to get together, this will be at the park half way so everyone is close to it. considering i live like 120 mile plus from family just for the time being not long. I will be makingmy cake and cupcakes since I love doing the decoration anyways. What are some games and things you have hears of or done at you baby shower? i am completly clueless. THANKS!!!!
