Why are people so obssed by gaming

Gaming
Many kids game these days and there are many ways to game you have the xbox, playstation, the normal pc, Wii and the nintendo. Off course you can also game on youre mobile phone but where not couting that. Back in the days we used to have gameboys but those are gone. In those days the games where very boring those games only had a few pixels. But now a days u got games that look so real, its almost if ur playing in the game. It looks so much fun but kids are obssed by these games.
After school they Just go and play the games and most parents are Just fine with that. They dont go outside to play with friends. They play with friends online. shooting games, adventure games. Football games, ext ext enough games to play. Many kids are obssed with these games because they got freedom they can do what ever they wanna do. I think kids must go outside like I used to do when I was young

Because game is really fun, of course. and game mobile have lot of kind not like game in real life

There are still gameboys until now. Gameboy advance, gameboy advance sp, etc.

@Marijn I don't think you know what a gameboy is. Gameboy is a trademark by nintendo company. Gameboy was first introduced in Japan in 1989. I was born in 1978 and in the 80s, the games that you mentioned that have few pixels were called nintendo game n watch.
so i don't know what kind of gameboys are you talking about. Because the gameboy advance is just an advance version of the very first gameboy.

I disagree with you regarding retro gaming. I actually found the retro games from retro game systems like gameboy, sega master system, and heap others to be more fun than the games you can get now. I have great memories of playing Sonic the hedgehog, collecting rings, and rolling into enemies. I do understand where you are coming from though, spending 8 hours a day gaming is quite crazy. With 8 hours there would be so many other things I would rather be doing. One of those would be posting comments like this on myLot!

Graphics are better than in the past, but I can assure you that some gameboy games are better than new games nowadays... about gaming, let us say I take your stand on the issue for the sake of argument; why would gaming be bad, but it would be ok to watch tv all day, or to drive in a car all day? when I was a child we watched movies as Rambo, today it is all censored, nothing good comes out of it, everyone is offended by everything... I as a gamer agree that it is important to go outside, to be active... but I don't support modern society which says it is bad to play games all day, bad to smoke, but on the other side the don't allow you to say it is bad to be overweight because someone will be offended...
