Does your child have a special toy or favorite blanket?

Does your child have a favorite blanket or special toy? Did you slowly separate them or did they give it up? My daughter has a bunny/blanket combo that she is absolutely attached to. She's a year old.

My daughter has a blanket that she loves to sleep with. Its more of having something they relate to in the nights while sleeping. I don't think you should get rid of it - the habit will go once she is big.

I don't have a kid. I remember when I was a kid, I used to have a favorite toy and blankie. I don't even want them to be washed then.

aww yes my brother had a favroite blues clues blankey he could not sleep without I seen nothing wrong with it makes your child feel safe, everyone has own opinions on it.. my moms ex who was abusive just burned it in front of a 3 years old pooor baby i have been trying to find him one ever since he is 15 now lol but still it is just a think.

My daughter has her bunny with a back up bunny. But that is terrible that your poor little brother would have his personal item burned.

My little girl favorite is her Build-a-Bear that she got last year for her birthday. She has to have it when she goes to sleep at night.

Yes! My little girl has a little bedtime bear that she's glued too, it literally goes everywhere with us. I have had to make a jacket for him when we go out that clips on to my daughter's coat so we don't loose him

That is a great idea! My daughter had a little lamb and she unfortunately lost it who knows where. I searched all over town to try to find the lost lamb or replace it.
