How far do you go for a "special offer"?

January 26, 2017 11:30am CST
The "Black Friday" is a perfect example of how far people can go in order to enjoy (not "always" to be fair... ) a special offer. People sleep in queues, and those who can't sleep, pay people to save their places. It's so absurd for me. I mean, of course that I like a good promotion to... But, I have my limits to get them.

I've never seen a deal that was that good to wait in line for literally days for it... The only thing I've done is waited up until midnight to buy a limited edition Amiibo but even then it was sold online so it's not like I was doing anything too crazy and was in the comfort of my own home.

I tried it once, and never again. Some years ago they were giving away free cellphones (a new brand) in my hometown. I decided to join the queue, which soon turned into a rabble. I had to leave empty handed, while others left with as many as seven phones.
