Opinion entitlement

I have always felt that myself and everyone else is entitled to their own opinion about politics, religion, sports, movies, music, food, etc However I have been finding out lately that other people do not feel that way about me. At home, online or where ever. I do not yell about it or say anything nasty but if I agree or do not agree with an online post or something on the news I get yelled at or receive private message basically telling me that I am wrong. Even last night all I did was post some news and my friend replied that it was wrong and right away she also messed me to tell me that I was wrong and that I had no right to post it But she and other's post whatever they like. Wonder why this is? Do you think that people are entitled to their own opinions?

Absolutely. We can't all think alike, but it doesn't always mean one of us is right and one of us is wrong.

It does seem that many will say they agree we should all be able to have our thoughts, feelings. However, it seems if you express a thought they don't agree with, there is a firestorm to deal with.

I am fine if they disagree with me. but when they tell me to stop saying my opinion or to stop posting it is when I get upset.

People are entitled to their opinion. However some people also want your opinion to be the same as theirs and struggle when it isn't. If you are a sensitive person this will be hard to deal with, but don't let it stop you being you. Unfortunately some people can't let thing go and need to push their own thoughts to others.

I believe nowadays "who says" is more important than "what is being spoken"; the substance required behind the who is more than ever before
