How is your back? Are you ever soar? Do you have a pinched nerve? Is it difficult getting around without feeling in a great amount of pain? My lower back hurts from time to time, but I recover fairly quickly. I am not hobbled, and I can get around fine. However, I have friends that have had back problems. Back surgery is often the final option. How about you?

I was rear-ended back in March 2002 and sustained two bulging discs in my neck and three in my lower back. I was out of work for almost a year. Four years later, a Peterbilt (tractor-trailer) sideswiped my car and re-injured me. Then, this past July, I threw my back out mowing the lawn. Then, I threw it out again a few weeks ago when I tripped and fell over the cat while going downstairs. Heating pads and chiropractors are among my best of friends.

My spine never shuts up. I try to continue on with my day and never look in the mirror.
