Disgusting Trump

The Muslim ban is disgusting. It is not what our country stands for. We turn our back on children who have been ravaged by war. We turn our back on many people who sacrificed their lives to help our military. We turn our back on people who oppose ISSIS, who are not radicals, and are suffering from persecution and threats of being killed. And Trump is selective. If he has business dealings, he does not place a ban on that country. The whole thing is repugnant.

Actually, I think this muslim ban would push more muslims to join ISIS because it makes them feel isolated and unwelcome and I'm sure ISIS would welcome them wholeheartedly. I agree with you that this is really not a good idea.

That is exactly what this is doing. It is also putting Americans at risk in other countries. The whole action is deplorable.

You actually have scum like Paul Ryan defending this. There are a few Republicans that are willing to speak out against this, but not nearly enough.

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt are three countries that got a pass. Lebanon was also not included along with the small Gulf States.

Trump is actually building 2 walls. The one with Mexico which is a waste of American tax payer's money(15-25 Billion$$$) and this invisible wall of banning selective immigrants to the US.

I tend to agree this is quite extreme. One can only hope that this is only until the Trump administration can come up with a better vetting process. There are so many people that are affected by this that harbor no ill will against America. I can see where he is coming from of course. It will be interesting to see how Trumps handles the situation in Syria as it's been mostly a proxy war between the United States and Russia. This war could have been over years ago if not for funding and arms given by the U.S. xx

The vetting process can already last as long as two years and if there is one mistake or hint of suspicion, you go to the back of the line and have to start over.

You hit the nail on the head. U.S. meddling in the affairs of other countries is the cause for all the backlash.

It is not a ban of Muslims, it is a ban for all people from the 7 countries listed. The list was put together by the Obama administration as countries that have the biggest danger....Carter, and Obama put bans on certain countries during their administrations and nothing was ever said about it..The only reason their is a problem is because Trump did it....the people protesting would not say a word about it if it was a Democrat that did this.

Thank you. It's interesting as he's making this ban, but he can't stop Islam. I say that because I am a Muslim but I came into the religion 3 years ago! I am actually born and bred British and probably more British than most in my country, which is ironic as those who support this Trump are saying UK with good ole There's May should follow suit... So I'd be interested to know where I would be banned too lol I wouldn't mind somewhere nice and hot, if they are paying ;) I can't even watch the news or read comments about it as there will also be those who will speak with hatred and ignorance in their hearts. There is terrorism everywhere, extremists from all sides. Tarring them all... The only thing I am planning is what to do next for dinner lol don't have time to be planning to terrorise anyone. There are Muslims like me just wanting to get on with life. I thank you for this post and hope we can all get on well whatever we believe
