My letter to HR

I wrote it out and this is what I'll be sending: I got the letter in the mail asking for a doctors note by Monday. That wont be happen considering It came Friday (and less than 1 full business notice) considering it takes 9 months to get into the doctors to prove I have a disability that was not an issue for my 3 to 4 year me working at Petsmart until the manager Madison was promoted, and Kyle became a manager at our store. Meaning I was fully capable of doing the job with every manager on staff, but yet I get reprimanded when Kyle becomes manager then get treated like an idiot. Saying this I will be contacting the ministry tomorrow as well to make sure this is acceptable considering the issues behind this that continue to happen. I would assume this is a warning before I get fired because apparently I lie about these issues according to management. Unless Petsmart is going to reimburse me for my doctors visit that is not covered by OHIP my yearly visit $100 - $200 , plus the hour drive there and back with gas, and the cost of the note. Not to mention the fact my hours repeatedly keep dropping and paying for these unnecessary expenses caused by unprofessional and untrained management is not my fault. Which should not be on my expense, and time hassle just to get accomondations that I did not ask for (the issue at hand was the unprofessional manner of both managers, and district manager who handled the assistant manager denying she mocked me for not being able to see - not the first incident either). I am sure you are fully aware of the issues that are happening at our store (as well as HR is fully aware) . Yet, turn a blind eye and brush it under the rug. I don't find it acceptable that the assistant manager madison who verbally attacked me on numerous occassions while working (yelling, downgrading, and so on), then mocking me for not being able to see has nothing but a 'talk' from Kyle and told this was not the truth and I was lying. On numerous occassions and I had been in contact with Dwight from HR. I was called in the office by Cheryl and even before I finished my first sentence she told this was not true and never happened. I was called into the office a few occassions by Kyle to get a revised statement for HR for this case. In which I said I had nothing more to say and if HR needs to investigate this then Dwight himself can contact me. In which online state the investigation is over and no further needed. Yet, kyle including a text message to get a revised statement in which he told me to lie and say it never happened including tell them how today went while you worked with Madison. SO in other words let me lie and brush it off like everything else that happens in the place. I am in uder shock that Petsmart is sticking up for an assistant manager who has been caught stealing product, covering up missing money, breaking several policies including getting her sister hired (which is viewed online in the policy), Favouring her sister including giving her more shifts, calling her in, and allowing her not having to do the proper described job duties. Meaning in one of these 'meetings' I was told Madison was not qualified for the job, nor trained properly in which is the past manager Jocelyn fault. I am sorry but is that a good reason for verbal attacking, stealing, and mocking someone? Clearly with Petsmart standards. But yet with Cheryl 'description' noone should feel anxious, or uncomfortable while working and in which cause Petsmart will not tolerate it. THAT IS THE EXACT CASE. I don't want to work with certain managers including Madison or Kyle. Being treated differently than other workers, and waiting for one of them to do something. Yet, nothing is done and I continuously get told I am lying or its not that bad. I know many other employees who witnessed madison stealing and reported it to HR. I did not reported it - why? Because I know Madison would come after me for doing so (as she clearly knows the 2 of us who were standing watching her and 1 is not employeed there anymore). She has done it before, and yet when I have reported it nothing was done just a slap on the wrist. So do explain to my why this is an issue other than siding and protecting madison for her unprofessional and crude comments which is indeed against the law. I was hired many years before (in which I was hired before Madison as well) and those managers I am sure can back me up stating I am capable of doing the job. I was not treated differently in any manager before Kyle became manager or Madison became assistant manager (in which this was brought up to Jocelyn as well at the time). I have had these disabilities (including low vision, hearing impairment, endometrosis, asthma, ulcerative colitis) for many years, and have not affected my work ability (as I have contacted some managers who have worked for Petsmart while I have been there). Including this I have never dealt with such behaviour including being mocked, told I was lying, and treated like I am a complete idiot including waving hands or treating me like I am incompetent, insisting I be scheduled less. I have never been treated differently, and those managers beforehand (and associate leads) allowed me a little time or helped me if there was a lot including allowing me to take my medication or allowing breaks during our shifts. But saying this I never asked for anything other than the other workers besides allowing me to stop to take my inhaler or medication to allow me to keep working until Madison & Kyle.

Way too emotional. That's a burn letter, not a professional letter to HR. Sit back and present the facts, with as few opinions as you can.

@ricki_911 Did I actually post the version I wrote for you last night? It was late and I honestly can't remember if I did or not.

Sorry but I agree with @yukimori. This letter is a big mess and needs an absolute total re-write. Sounds more like a rant than a professional letter...if I got this I'd think you were nuts No offence meant just my opinion.

The emotion behind it is completely understandable, in my opinion. Unfortunately, it really doesn't have a place in business communication, and that's what Ricki needs at this point. The entire situation seems to be a total hot mess.

@yukimori I didn't write it I spoke it and my friend wrote it. Mine would very nicely have some colourful words in it. I am done with them all. The one manager who told me to lie is now being transferred and demoted to a lower spot in another store. The assistant manager has nI thing, like nothing happened. I already go in and not say a word to anyone in the store. Too many immature children running the place. I got this demo job and have a few interviews this week so hoping.

Let's hope the letter works well.
