Is Trump an extremist too?

I don't live in the US and I don't understand why american people voted Trump for president after an amazing Obama.
President Trump is taking measures to ban and block people from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. I am not a muslinand I don't live in any of these countreis but I know there are bad and good people in all countries and religions around the world.
I think Trump is a kind of radical extremist too. What do you think?

The one I looked up for, was from Egypt. That country, too, is not banned though.

@hora_fugit Of course, he has 2 companies in Egypt.
No way he will ban Egypt and lose millions.
Donald Trump is President of at least 2 companies in Egypt and Turkey – Muslim country that he “mysteriously” omitted from his ban list.
