I love to take photographs and consider myself a keen amateur. I'm under no illusions ... most of my photography isn't high quality and, although I have a couple of decent cameras and have been on a course, my technical know-how is rather limited.
But, I love to take photographs. I took a photo a day using a daily prompt for nearly three years {which is nothing; my Baby Brother has been taking a photo a day, sans prompts, for about twenty years or so}, but halfway through January I just gave up. I lost the motivation and was getting no enjoyment from it. However, I did miss it ... so today I began my adventure again.
And that picture up there is the result of randomly pointing and clicking whilst lorries whizzed past as I waited patiently for the green man.

@poppylicious It would be rather disconcerting if a green man appeared I thought at first till I realised which green man you meant.

Do you know, I never thought about it in any other context than crossing the road. This now leaves me wondering how many folk I've confuzzled!

I think your picture is beautiful and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. =) Who really says who is considered a professional or an amateur?

accidental time lapse photo ? i remember accidently taking photos like this when i used film. sometimes they came out really cool ! other times i can tell i accidently opened the back of the camera and exposed the film to light.
do go back to taking photos, i love looking at peoples photography.
